Attractive, looks great!
The in-frig water dispenser is wonderful, better tasting water than bottled.
I do not like the loud "clunk" when the ice cubes fall into the ice bin.

Beautiful styling
Even though this Caf? is about the same size as my previous refrigerator, because of the counter depth I can utilize the entire interior space. I love having access to every food item. I don't mind the minor noises the appliance makes. I've only had it a short time but it's living up to all my expectations. And above all it has a great industrial look.

I would not recommend this fridge to my worst enemy
I have never noticed a refrigerator running before but this one you can't miss. It is the noisiest model I have ever heard. I thought it must be broken but the GE repairman told me the sounds are "normal". Plus the right side door doesn't close unless you give it a good shove, and you absolutely must set the alarm to alert you if you have left it open. This is the fridge for you if you like annoying high-pitched whirring sounds and if you are ok with replacing food that spoils if you leave the door open a crack. It is simply awful.

Good for Counter Depth French Door
We could only go with a counter depth refrigerator and wanted a French Door. Our last one was side by side and we didn't like how items got lost in the back or storage issues with narrow freezer. This GE Cafe French Door unit is what we expected, no problems except water dispenser stopped working after a few months. Don't think it is the water line since the icemaker is still working fine.
I like how the interior water dispenser makes for more door room for gallons of milk, etc. Just need it to work!

Paid for the exterior looks
I've only had this refrigerator for about 1 week. I wanted a counter-depth unit that had an internal water dispenser since I don't like the busy look that the external water dispensers have. For a refrigerator in this price range I would say the features are below average. I had the exact same functionality and features in a counter-depth unit I bought 8 years ago.
I am disappointed that you do not get the ramp up LED lighting on this model (you do with the models that have external water dispensers). For the week that I have had it the temperature has not fluctuated and has stayed at the setting I selected since day 1. The turbo cool had the refrigerator ready to store food in about an hour after we plugged it in.
All in all I would say it is decent, nothing high-tech or innovative. I knew I was pretty much paying for the external styling which is simple and goes well in my modern kitchen.

Kitchen remodel with all GE Cafe
We bought 4 GE Cafe appliances for a total gut kitchen remodel. Aesthetics were important to us so we sacrificed cubic feet with the counter depth model. We have another frig in the garage, so this one works just fine.
The door bins are roomy, the interior is well lit, and the drawers for produce and meat are adequately sized. Don't block the top shelf air intake at the back, or items will freeze on the bottom shelves.
Freezer organization with baskets works well.
Had a GE counterdepth refrig in a previous home (12+years) with no problems, so I am hoping this one will be as reliable.

a very roomy, well designed refrigerator
there is a lot of door capacity in the refrigerator and the meat compartments hold a lot. there is not that much capacity in the refrigerator itself. the ability to adjust the temperature by pushing a button is great. the freezer is well divided. the poorest feature is the water dispenser which doesn't flow well and gets frozen.

bad noise
If you like quiet in the morning while reading paper and having coffee then don't buy this product. It makes noise and the service man said that was normal. I have never heard a refrigerator make this kind of noise. I would give the stupid refrigerator back in a second if GE would take it.
WARNING..... it is noisy
