The washer communicates electronically with the dryer, which then presets dry cycles for excellent clothes care, increased time savings and convenience. When the washer is opened to remove the wash load, the washer sends cycle information to the dryer through a serial cable that connects the washer and dryer control panels. The dryer “knows” and clearly displays the recommended dryness level and the best temperature needed for great drying results.
