Excellent Freezer
Shopped around for a few weeks and this freezer had the best reviews and features for the price. Have only had it for a few weeks but it's working great and definately provides enough space.

huge capacity
We got this chest freezer to store a side of beef (1/2 steer) and it does so with a lot of room to spare. That's about 250 pounds of meat. The freezer was a bit large for our house, so we had to put it in the garage. The two of us were able to carefully lift the empty chest (not with our backs) and move it to the garage. So far the compressor doesn't stay on all day long in the warmer, somewhat stuffy garage. Honestly though, I don't recommend putting it in the garage unless it is your last resort (especially if the garage could have temperatures of less than 0 F or above 110 F). I have a fan turning on during the heat of the day to help advect heat away from the exterior walls, especially from the compressor side (on the left as you look in the chest); the refrigerant can get quite hot to the touch otherwise. I like the green light on the freezer; it is an indicator that it is on even when the very quiet compressor is off. I wouldn't have minded the noise of this machine; it is quieter than our side-by-side upright freezer and refrigerator. The appliance cord is a bit short, but the manual says as a last resort you can use an appliance approved extension cord. At setting 4 (the manual's default) it keeps the freezer around -6 F, perfect for storing meat long-term. Excellent freezer for the cost! I only wish it had a Freezer alarm to help product our food investments.

This is a great freezer!!
I bought this freezer a day ago and it looks great, no noice, i like the fact that you can lock it, safer for kids not to mess it up, yet to learn more as this is my first to own, it's roomy too.

Love it!
I absolutely love this freezer. I don't know how I did it before without one. This freezer is very quiet and does a great job of storing and freezing my food.
