Great Freezer Storage
Overall, this freezer is excellent. However, we purchased our first one just over a year ago, and the compressor stopped working. We just purchased a second one and will have the original one repaired. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this product. We buy in bulk. For example, 10 lb. packages of various meat cuts from our butcher and my husband loves 10 for 10 sales at our local grocer. So, we needed a freezer to hold everything and still maintain temperature. The capacity is wonderful and the two baskets come in handy for quick items.

Some improvements
We replaced the same model that we bought 13 years earlier. I like that the power light is blue instead of orange. Also the lid doesn't seal as tight, which is good.

Just the right size for our needs.
It's just the right size and looks well built. It's a nice simple machine that seems unlikely to have many things that can go wrong due to it's simplicity.

Loads of space!
I absolutely love this freezer. It holds a lot of food which is great because my family and I like to buy in bulk at our local Sam's Club. The two baskets are very handy for smaller items. This freezer works so well, we only need to keep the temperature at 1 on the dial.

Quaility, don't count on it
Shipped from China, in thin box with bottom missing. Has corrugated plastic with thin foam sides. Item came with box in good condition, however it was packaged and shipped from factory with dent in lid pushing seal down and has a couple of scratches. Would have taken it back however more trouble than worth, seems to work for now will see how it holds up. GE products in past working great, however if this fails or get another product shipped with factory defects will buy another brand and drop GE

Great product, perfect for small apartments
Great product. Fits well in our small apartment. Allows me to stock up on sale items that can be frozen. We have two turkeys, three large hams, frozen pies, bags of frozen veggies, lunch meat, loves of bread, etc. all in there right now. I like the two sliding storage baskets which can be removed if desired. Wish we had gotten this freezer years ago.

Very Nice Freezer for the Price
We bought this freezer after a shopping trip to Cosco, we went a little overboard on the meats. We just wanted a nice size smaller freezer, and this one was it. This freezer looks and runs great.
