This product is better than okay
I replaced my old GE range with this GE model. The only feature that I don't like is the way it tells you that there is a hot burner. My old range's feature for this showed you which burner was still warm...this one just has a light on the stove top that says one of the burner's is hot. I was really disappointed with this. However, the rest of the features on this produc are wonderful!

Best for the Buck
If you're on a budget this GE Range is the best buy around. It is loaded with features of the much more expensive models on the market. I've purchased GE products since getting married in 1980 and will continue till death do me part!

Oven takes way too long to preheat!
I am a bread maker. My oven takes 26 min. to reach 350 degrees and close to 35 to reach 400 degrees. This is a waste of electricity....and had I been told this information (the preheat time is not correct) I would not have had fallen-bread thinking I had done something wrong!

EVERY OPTION YOU NEED
I RESEARCHED RANGES FOR A MONTH BEFORE DECIDING TO PURCHASE THIS MODEL. IT HAS ALL THE NEEDED OPTIONS, A LARGE OVEN AND A GREAT PRICE. REALLY UPDATED AN OLDER KITCHEN. I AM REALLY PLEASED WITH THE PERFORMANCE OF THIS OVEN AND WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

Useful features for both baking & cooking
As a baker, the large oven appealed to me and the multiple oven rack positions. I was glad not to have to give up a storage drawer for the large oven.
I wasn't sure I wanted a smooth-top however have come to enjoy the flexibility of the dual-size burners, especially having larger burners in the front to make it easier to work with large saucepans and stockpots. The warming zone has also come in handy on a few occasions.
The one minor gripe I found was when preheating the oven while using the timer feature I thought the timer had been inactivated when I turned the oven on. Until I heard the timer beep a few minutes later & realized it hadn't stopped keeping track of time even though the timer countdown was not being displayed.

Excellent Stove
I bought this stove because it was highly rated. It has not disappointed me so far. I especially like the warming burner and the range of burner sizes. I would recommend you use smooth bottomed pots and pans on this stove and make sure that they do not have any metal grooves.
