Nice control panel
I like the controls; however I do wished that the cooktop would have been available in a black or dark gray

A very good product but could do with some improvements.
Model JB705 Researched a lot before settling on this range. Lots of features for the price. The reviews were mostly positive. I've had this range a little over 3 months now. Love the smooth stove top. Very, very easy to clean especially compared to my previous gas stove. The glass-ceramic cooktop cleaner liquid works great. The burners in the back can't be used for taller pans because the burner control panel sticks out too far. This is a drawback but maybe that keeps the range from extending out too far from the wall. Something dripped between the double glass oven window, I have yet to figure out how. To get it clean, I'd have to take the oven door apart. The warming drawer sits crooked & nothing we've tried will get it to stay even/level. I've tried to figure out from the instructions, how to use the automatic convection conversion feature so foods would automatically be at the right temp for convecton baking but it defeats me. I find there's not much difference between regular baking & convection baking as far as temperature goes so that's not a problem. I still have to turn the cookie pans, etc., for even browning which was disappointing. It was my understanding convection baking browned your foods evenly & baked them faster at a lower temp than regular baking plus there was no need to rotate the pans or change shelves, but I'm finding this not to be true, not with this range anyway. The oven cleaning feature (haven't tried the steam feature) works well. It's a very nice looking range and the burners work great. I thought I was in for a big adjustment going from gas to electric but no problems at all. The oven racks are heavy-duty & slide in and out very smoothly. The hidden oven element is a plus & the oven heats up in 10-12 minutes which satisfies me. Overall, I'm very happy with this range, so far. If it continues to perform this well, I would definitely buy another comparable GE when this one needs replaced.

Excellent electric range
We shopped and considered all brands and we have not been disappointed with this model. Fast oven preheat, numerous size burners, easy to use controls, a very quick power boil feature and an easy to clean oven makes this a winner.
We have used the oven constantly and food tastes great and chicken, port and beef are always moist.
The quality of the model along with the appearance is top notch. Cleaning the flat burner top is very easy. I would not hesitate in considering this model.

Still Learning it
Am still tryiung to figure out the convection settings, we tried to bake some cupcakes, and used the auto correct feature. However, they did not cook correctly, some were not done all the way.

Love my GE range
I have been using this glass stovetop range for about a month now and it has been working beautifully for us. The glass stovetop does get dirty after each use especially if you spill something while cooking but cleaning is quick and easy using the special stovetop cleaner included. I know I will have to buy more cleaner in the future but that's what it takes to maintain a good appliance. Range controls are easy to use. I haven't had a chance use the oven yet so I can't comment on how it works. I can just say that the electric range cooks well, heats up fast using a wok to cook vegetables. Appreciate the different sized pots I can use on this range. I still need to test it cooking for a large party, as a couple this range works for our family and looks great in our kitchen!

Nice But Quality Issue
The oven is not level when the stovetop is perfectly level, requiring a service visit. This should have been fixed at the factory.

My wife LOVES our new stove
We just had our kitchen painted white (my wifes favorite color). It was a dark brown with a goulish yellow stove. Of course that 30 year old stove was an eyesore. We got this all white GE modern stove an now we both believe we live in a new house - all bright and modern. The white stove top was especially desirable to us. Not only does it fit and look great, we were delighted in using it's special features like very large oven and precise temperature convection oven and multiple options on the burner sizes etc.

After long and lengthly research, I finally found the range I really wanted! I have been very pleased with cooking ease in both oven and range top.
