Built-in kit cost almost as much as the oven itself This was the only microwave oven that fit the dimensions I needed for replacing my broken built-in microwave oven . This oven is a counter-top unit that cost ~$270, plus another ~$200 for a piece of painted metal (trim kit) that goes around the outside of microwave oven! With no other option, I paid ~$470 for the privilege/need of having a built-in microwave. There is nothing special about this oven and except for my desire/need to fill a hole in my kitchen wall. Given an option, I would have shopped around for other microwave ovens for the price I paid. March 5, 2013
