Quit Working
I did like this microwave, we had it for about 2 yeras and then it randomly quit on us. out of nowhere. GE said there was nothing they could do because it was out of warrenty. I am very dissapointed that a microwave would quit after only 2 years of use, it was manufactured in 2010

Very good quality
This microwave is a good quality. Comparing from the previous we had, GE microwave's power in heating food are really good. For a 30 second, the food is already warm.

very short life but just past the year warranty...
I bought this at Sam's on 11/14/11 and it just died on 2/3/13 - less than 15 months and I mostly heated a few things in it and made oatmeal every morning during the weekdays.

A poorly engineered and shoddily constructed product.
The turntable did not return heated items to the door after 30 seconds or even after full minutes, so we regularly had to retrieve them from the rear of the oven. After 12 months of service, the door latch began loosening, and after 13.5 months the door ceased to open at all. In addition to the above, the express cook buttons are poorly thought out, more of a hinderance than a benefit

This product is reliable.
My 1100 watt GE stainless steel counter top microwave has not failed me once since I bought it about 6 months ago. I had a GE over the range microwave that suddenly failed me in less than ninety days for some undisclosed reason; but I bought another GE product that wound up working just fine with no glitches. I went counter top because it is much more difficult to service an over the range microwave compared to a counter top model.
