Fits Our Needs Nicely
We bought this model for several reasons, learned from prior experiences: the white interior allows one to see the food being cooked (i.e., if it's boiling over!); the keypad is easy to read; size of the mw-interior & exterior-is similar to the one we replaced; the price was right!
We've only used it a week, but hope for several years of good performance-I'm tired of shopping for microwaves and returning them! The only drawback I've noticed is when the food is done and the bell rings, it continues to remind you every few seconds with a single "ding." My husband likes this features; I find it irritating. At least it's a softer "ding" and not as obnoxious as some ovens we've tried and returned!

Small enough to complement any kitchen.
The ease of use, is the most important feature of this unit. Besides being an easy to place unit in any kitchen, the color scheme matches perfectly with other appliances. No frivolous add-ons, but simply designed to suit any consumer.

It is just what I was looking for
I had a certain size and wattage in mind, as well as price. This oven fit the criteria. It performs well and has a lot more features on it than I will ever use.

Works OK for the price
I replaced a 10 year old GE countertop model with this one. It was the closest match to my old one I could find. There are several differences. My husband likes to heat his cup of tea water in the microwave and it takes almost 4 minutes to come to a boil--the old microwave only took a little over 2 minutes. According to the features, they are the same wattage, but it doesn't heat the same. The see thru glass front doesn't give the same view of the food as it's cooking like the old one did--you can barely see what is going on inside. I think it may have something to do with the location of the interior light being closer to the front and not in the middle (not sure). Also, the interior glass turn table is only 12" diameter, where the old one was 14" -- this smaller turn table will be a problem when heating several dishes at the same time.--I consider this a negative. I've only used this for a few weeks, and it is very similar to the old one, with the above exceptions. It's a good microwave for the price. I purchased the 2 year extended warranty for $18 (begins after the manufacturer's 1 year warranty expires) because of some other reviews I read on this model.

What the heck?!?
I had to replace my 12 year old GE microwave because it died. Went to the store after researching GE online to buy a new one. Got it home, set it up, went to plug it in and what do you know, the cord is too short!!! Called GE and they said all their cords are shorter now because people complained they were too long (really?!?). I live in an older home and don't have outlets above my counters, only near the floor on the walls. I don't know what to do now because they don't recommend using an extension cord and couldn't give me any recommendations. Beware!
