Love this product
As a lover of wines, this wine center has been a wonderful item. It keeps the wines at the right temperature and is readily available when desired. GE appliances are my choice when looking for home requirements.

Great addition to the kitchen
Perfect size to keep wine in the kitchen. Holds different type bottles and the temperature range accommodates white or red wines.

We have had this wine fridge for approx. 6 years. Two years into our ownership, the cooling mechanism broke, however the repair was under warranty and we have not encountered any other issues. I would recommend this product.

Great wine cooler
This product looks great and does a good job. Still trying to fill all the spaces with wine though!! Very pleased.

Excellent use of space. Compact and fits enough bottles. This is a great addition to the bar.

Good product, but could be even better
This is a well made unit and is very quiet (contrary to others that make such claims but fail to deliver). I'm quite happy with it, but it could be better.
There can be up to a 5-8 degree delta between the top and bottom. I checked that with a Meade TM005X-M wireless temp system, plus an extra sesnor all from Amazon for less then $50, that will transmit through the door so you can put the sensors inside and have the display outside (it will nicely sit on the top of the door handle with its stand deployed). With the temp dial set exactly half way in between the bottom reads 48 and the top 56. However the second drawer from the top is only 53. i.e. with no circulation or disturbance the hot air is right at the top of the fridge. So I would suggest removing the top drawer and using the 2nd one for your larger reds (e.g. some Pinot's and Syrah's that will not fit otherwise).
The light gets very hot and thus will perturb the temp delta even more, so I suggest not even using it when the door is open (just unscrew the bulb a couple of turns). No LED replacement yet exists for this bulb type. Replacing the light with a tiny fan might be best since the light really does nothing and that would keep temperature much more constant throughout the fridge (I think but have not tested).
The bottom two drawers are short, so it would make more sense to configure the wire racks for these two drawers to arrange the bottles cross wise (3 and 3, or even 3 and 2), since as it is Chardonay bottles will not fit on the bottom 2 drawers.
The drawers slide easily, except for the final 1/4 inch when fully closed. This is some sort of hold or lock that requires extra pressure so you have to be careful when pulling out to not pull to much and likewise when closing. Its best to use two hands one on each side for this final/first bit. I find this annoying and would rather it did not have this and just glided smoothly the entire way. Perhaps this can be defeated, but I have yet to figure out how to do so.
I also would rather have 6 drawers with a bit more room, so larger bottles could fit anywhere, rather than having 7 drawers where I have to take one out anyway to fit larger bottles.
So it could be even better, but for its size, I think it is by far the best unit on the market ( have looked at many and even bought another that I had to send back to an online retailer. (with all the nightmare of customer service hassles one might imagine in such a case).
