Looks great works great Great product. The only negative is when cleaning the front control panel, the control buttons are too sensitive and will turn something on. Easy to get around to this negative. July 11, 2013
LOVE IT Love my new GE Profile. It has everything: sleek style, easy to use, temperature probe for roasts, sensors to shut off the burners if a pan has boiled dry. I love the convection oven as I live at 8,300 feet elevation and it speeds up my baking time. May 28, 2013
The range is wonderful I researched this product a long time before purchasing it. When I finally got it it was like a dream come true. The quality is great. The features are wonderful. I love the convection oven. When I baked cookies for the first time they were perfect! The only thing is the ceramic cook top is hard to keep clean. It will just take some getting use to. May 2, 2013
Efficient Range Upgraded my GE appliances recently and am impressed with the efficiency of this cooktop/range. Features are great and easy to understand. Oven offers multiple rack slot options. Highly recommended. April 15, 2013
Oven takes 26 minutes to heat up to 400 degrees I bought a luxury condo that came with GE Profile appliances. Each one was worst than the other. I use so much electricity trying to heat the oven to 400 degrees that I do not use the oven anymore. It is too costly. My microwave burned out in the 5th year of usage and cost $280.00 to repair. The dishwasher takes forever and only half cleans my dishes so I stopped using it. The refrigerator is a completely different story altogehter. I already wrote a review on the sorry state of it. The 21st Century Oven Reading some other reviews I was a little skeptical but I went ahead and purchased this oven about 5 months ago. I installed it myself and was replacing an older drop-in. I did have to cut the existing counter top opening a little larger which was no big deal. The oven was for our new dream house we recently bought in Georgia so I didn't mind the expense. We replaced all appliances with the best ones we could find. Some issues I read was a trim piece missing on the door so you could see inside the oven. I don't know what that is about because I don't have that issue, it looks fine. Another reviewer mentioned a burst of hot air when first opening the door because of the fan. You do get some initial heat when you first open the door, but that happens regardless of the fan being on or off. It is just the nature of a convection oven since they are vented differently from a conventional oven. You must keep your face back a little when you open the door or you will get your glasses fogged. As far as keeping the cook top clean, we read the instructions and haven't had an issue. It is important not to let the cook pot boil over or cook without cleaning the spillage, but that would apply to any cook top. We keep a coating of the cook top cleaner on the cook surface like the instruction suggest and clean the top with the recommended cleaner when it is required. The only fried food we eat is fish and my wife has a hot plate that she uses for that. Now, for the reason I gave the oven such high ratings. I bake a lot of bread and always have a problem of the bottom of the rolls getting too dark before the tops are brown, but this oven bakes bread perfectly. I've only used the convection bake setting so far. Pies are also done perfectly. I cooked a turkey last Thanksgiving and used the temperature probe feature, again it was a perfect cook. The oven cooked the bird until the optimum meat temperature was reached then shut off by itself. When preheating it displays the temperature progress and alerts you when it is up to temperature, which is surprisingly quick. The 5th warming burner is very useful and the bridge burner is a great idea, even though I haven't used it yet. All in all it is an amazing appliance and I would definitely buy this oven again if I had it to do over. March 28, 2013
very good product, highly recommend Researched flat top stoves for my newly remodeled kitchen. This product was highly recommended. My second flat top. Love the warming area and the ability to use a griddle on left side of stove. Looks great in my new Kitchen and highly statisified...Love it!!! March 21, 2013
Not a very good example of the word profile Standing in front of this range you are able to see the interior of the oven across the top of the door it looks as if the door is missing a trim kit not what I wanted to see in the purchase of a GE PROFILE range June 26, 2012
