SmartDispense™ technology holds 47 fl. oz. of dishwasher detergent and automatically dispenses just the right amount in each load’s pre-wash and main wash cycles to get dishes incredibly clean. To load, push down the cap and twist off, then fill the reservoir with liquid or gel automatic dishwasher detergent. GE Profile™ dishwashers with SmartDispense™ technology use an exact amount of detergent based on water hardness settings.

This towerless rack design eliminates the central wash tower and allows space for larger items with no adjustments required. The wash system quietly scrubs dishes clean by directing water precisely onto the dishes with six wash levels and three wash arms. A redesigned pump and smaller spray holes reduce noise and work just as well with less water. And precise 18 RPM rotation of spray arms sprays jets of water into tall glasses and pitchers to get them clean.

The CleanSensor™ uses a highly sensitive sensor to measure soil levels and water temperature. It then determines the length of the cycle, controls the water temperature and adjusts the number of water fills.

The giant tub is 15% larger than GE’s standard tub. These tub interiors are taller than the standard tub. Maximum capacity racking washes up to 16 place settings at once.

Set timer to begin wash cycle to take advantage of reduced energy rates or to wash dishes while the family is asleep. Start can be delay for 2, 4 or 8 hours.
