This is a great microwave
This will be my second microwave of this kind I love it .
The features work great and the appearance is very compimentary to my other appliances and kitchen.
I would recommend this microwave to anyone it has lasted for over the amount of time I thought it would and kept it's look through alot of use.

So far, So good
Just had this over the range microwave installed this week. Love the way it looks and I am happy so far with its performance. Haven't used it enough to fully assess its performance, but so far, so good.

Not a good value
We owned this microwave for just under a year when it quit working the first time. I was disappointed that it quit, but happy that it was at least still under warranty.
One year later it quit working again and it was no longer under warranty.The main control panel went out and the cost to repair it was not much less than the cost to replace it. So now it's on the side of the road at the repair shop. We have had bad luck with GE appliances before, but a nice GE rebate was persuasive when we bought all new appliances for our kitchen. My new microwave will not be a GE product.

Looks Great but doesn't last
We purchased the entire suite of GE Profile products for our kitchen including this over the range microwave because of the quality of past GE products we owned . We had handle issues in the beginning with the microwave unit that were eventually fixed but now here we are almost 4 1/2 years later and the megatron went out on the it. It would have cost almost 3/4 as much in parts and labor to have the microwave repaired so instead we purchased the newer replacement model #PNM1971SR1SS. We are disappointed with the quality of the new microwave for the amount of money that it cost us but it was the direct replacement for our old one and matches all of our other appliances. We are hopeful that it not give us any issues because if so we will definitely look at other brands next time around.

great product
love this microwave. works and looks beautiful. Would definitely by GE again. My kitchen is not only great to cook in but it is also beautiful to look at. These GE appliances are gorgeous!

Cooks food evenly. Spacious interior.
This is one of the best microwave ovens I have owned in over 20 years. It is easy to use, cooks very well, from small items to large dinners. i had to replace one part, a vent door. GE customer service was excellent in providing a 24 hour turnaround with the part that i was able to manage. the need to replace a part is why the Quality is rated as Good and not Excellent.
