Love my machines!
I absolutely love my washer and dryer! Not sure why there are so many negative responses to it because I have owned it for several years and have not had one problem with it!

The worse machine ever. We have had nothing but problems and been told it is cheaper to buy a. New one than work on the machine.

I have no words to describe anger!!!
we have this machine for a few years now and i cant tell you how upset i am with this product, ever since we bought it we have been having problems with it. constantly having a technician come to the house to clean the drain pump that is almost impossible to get to it yourself, and now for about a year and 6 months every time i put bleach and fabric softener its draining from the bottom so i need to keep a towel on the front bottom of the machine so i don't have bleach and fabric softener spilled all over the floor. i Don't know what to do we spent a lot of money on this and its not working for us. i only wish they would give me my money back so i could get a decent item........will never purchase another machine from GE again!!!

WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO GE'S QUALITY AND RELIABILITY?
This washing machine worked great for the first year or two. Figured out how to get the screws off and unclog the lint trap despite it being kept a secret at the time by G.E. Since then it has had numerous problems with stopping and the basket not turning. Waste of money. Extremely disappointed in G.E. on this one.

Doesn't work as expected
We bought the Washer in 2006. It worked great for the first year. After that we have had many issues. Currently it does not spin or drain. the counter is inaccurate. Says 1 minute left, 20 minutes later its finally done. It's such a "pretty" washer to work so terribly. I wish I would have done more research before we purchased this product.

Piece of Junk
We have owned this washer for almost 4 years. In the 4 years we have owned it we have had it serviced 3 times due to various issues. Even when it worked its best it we were not happy with it. The last service call yesterday was a bitter sweet moment. This is when we leaned that the seals in the motor were shot and that it would cost more to repair then it was worth.
I have never been the type of person to write any type of review however I wish I would have rewad more reviews before purchasing this product. It is ovious now with all the other various complaints about this product, that I just didn't experience an isolated incident.

many repairs, too expensive to repair at 6 years
We have had this washer repaired at least 5 times in the past 4 years. Now it will cost $ 500 which is what we paid for this 6 years ago. We can purchase a new one instead. The last repair less than a year ago was over $ 300 and the repairman noted we have had every part replaced that can be replaced.

Breaks down every year or so
We are getting our third control board replacement for this washer. It is obviously a poor design.
Trap is also hidden behind a panel with three difficult screw removals. Poor Design.
