SO SORRY I BOUGHT THIS WASHER
It looks good is very quiet and has great features but it DOES NOT CLEAN WORTH A DARN. Clothes come out twisted and mangled together and ANYTHING dark comes out with lint twisted into the crevices. I always have to de-lint all dark slacks after the have been washed.
I WISH I HAD NEVER BOUGHT THIS WASHER....but the matching dryer is great.

Not a good value
Does not always clean spots off the clothes, They are also very wrinkled at end of load. Many times there are dry patches where water has not reached parts of the cloth. Loads take a long ,,long time. Have had to have repairman twice as the the water sprayer getting clogged causing water to leak onto the floor. WE do have very hard water but I have never had that problem with another washer.

Happy mom
For what it is worth, given the bad reviews on here, I have loved this washer! We used it for 2 years before we moved out of our house and now it is in storage until I need it again. I haven't had a single problem with it and I do a fair amount of laundry. My daughter is in cloth diapers and it does a wonderful job getting them and all our clothes clean. No complaints here! Would def recommend this washer! Most likely there are many people out there like me, but only the ones who have a reason to complain come here and voice it.

leaks and very loud
very disappointed. very loud, does not clean the clothes, even small loads. Picked model due to tub size, would go back to old agitator model, don't care if it uses more water! very hard to find answers to find out what to do regarding leaking water. unable to get a person on the phone to talk to regarding problems with washer.

Terrible - don't purchase
We purchased this washing machine about 3 years ago. The motor has now died and it will cost $400 to repair. When it did work, it was rather loud. I wish we would have gone with a different machine and company. A motor shouldn't die in 3 years of use. Also, they include a fuse in the machine that is pointless.

Don't Buy
The washer was repaired after a load was off balanced. The washer is better with the center thing than without. The waher will get off balance regardless how clothes are placed. The washer makes a very loud grind noise when washing. I will not buy another GE product unless I get to try it for 6 months. I am very disappointed in this washer.

ok washer with some caution!!!
Over good washer with some caution! lots of features, great priced washer over the price machines out there. One thing with this machine you got to READ THE CARE MANUAL and use only HE detergent only and use small amounts, even if have a big load in it ,becuse of water and soap ratio. I was studing how this machine works. the best thing to do is fill the washer with water, up to the point under the infuser. Now add detergent following your load of clothes. Set the fill seting to senser fill. The washing setitng don't matter. Some colthes may have some white residue on them. It can be easly removed with a damp rag with warm water. As for lent do the same thing as the white residue or just throw in the dryer for 10 -20 on low heat , which it will remove it away. (if your a hang it on a line type) Turst me this works! Now I no problems with this waher. Good luck mout there ! I hope this helps..

I GOT TAKEN!
Despite doing my" homework" on this washer, (consumer Reports said it was great) I am very disappointed in GE.
This is the loudest washing machine I've ever heard,and and it does not clean my clothes.
I wish I had my old washer back. It was 15 years old and did WAY better than this thing does.
Now , a little over a year after buying this machine, we will put it up for sale, (I can't bring myself to ask more than $75.00), and buy something else.
Sorry GE, it won't be one of yours.
