Good value, fits perfectly. Bought this unit for a bedroom measuring appropriately 96 sq ft. I needed something that was some what slim in size. There is a security gate on the window that this ac would be going into. I had about &.7.5 inches to play with. I cam across this unit on the PC Richards web site. I went over and picked one up. And it just fit in the window with the security gate staying closed. And I'm completely satisfied. This unit is a no frills unit. There aren't a lot of features to this AC. It's very basic. But it does the job and cools this little bedroom off with no problems. I have been having a problem finding a very slim mount unit. Manufacturers don't seem to make units that are very slim enough to fit out a window where there may a security gate around the window frame. Luckily for me, this units fits the bill. July 19, 2013
Great value Bought this for my son's bedroom. 96 sq ft. In a window with a security gate on and not much room to play with. This unit fit perfectly. Doesn't have many features, but it does the job. It cools the room down just fine. And that's what I needed from this unit. July 17, 2013
Does the job I bought this unit for a great price at PC Richards for my daughter's room. It cools the room quite nicely. She loves it and we'll see how long it lasts. June 11, 2013
2 of 2 Defective Units I can't speak to any characteristics other than quality since the two GE air conditioners we just bought were defective out of the box, The first had a stripped screw going through the casing in the motor housing. The second was installed but had a wobbling blower fan that audibly rubbed against the internal insulation. I've submitted a complaint on this site and will attempt to return/exchange them tomorrow. Will try to follow up here after GE responds and the swap outs are complete. May 29, 2013
last years model was better the discharge vent of the cool air faces up which means it doesnt cool the room well. Last years model had it facing straight and worked very well. May 5, 2013
