ALSO THE DOOR WHERE YOU PUT THE DETERGENT IS SITUATED WHERE WHEN IT TRIES TO OPEN IN CYCLE THE UTENSIL TRAY ON BOTTOM RACK PREVENTS IT FROM OPENING ALL THE WAY. THIS IS BY FAR THE WORSE DISHWASHER I HAVE EVER OWNED. EVEN THE CHEAPER MODEL WHIRLPOOLS CLEAN BETTER. CUSTOMER SERVICE NO HELP AT ALL. BOTTOM LINE IS GE SHOULD HAVE RECALLED THIS MACHINE BUT CHOSE NOT TO AT THE OWNERS EXPENSE. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER GE APPLIANCE AGAIN. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! DEFECTIVE MODEL THAT IS WHY THEY ARE NOT MAKING IT ANYMORE.VERY DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER

Rated 4 out of 5 by not gonna happen from Nice Dishwasher I have had this appliance for a couple of months and it is running much more than the old one. Mainly because I did not realize how badly the old one was washing the dishes. So I am rewashing many of them in the new one.
