Ratings and Q&A

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great look Just got the oven installed and it looks really nice with the glass doors. Convection easy to use and works well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Replaced 17 year old GE oven and lost a feature I bought this oven to replace a 17 year GE oven. I was disappointed to find out that the "Cook Time" feature was not present. I had always used that in combination with the "Delay Start" to have dinners ready and not over cooked. I also wish the two controls were simetrical. Even though the bottom oven does not have the convection feature, the buttons in common could have been place in the same location for both ovens to prevent hunting for the matching between when using 2 ovens. Finally the timer functionality should be consistent between GE products. On my GE microwave, the "Timer" button starts and stops the timer. On this oven the "Timer" button allows you to enter the time, but the "Start" button must be pressed to start the timer. If the "Timer" button is pressed a second time, it cancels the timer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my new GE oven Since we had the new GE oven installed six weeks ago, we have used it for roasting, baking and broiling and are amazed at how quickly the oven comes to temperature. This replaced a twenty year old GE oven that always performed. We already know that this oven will outperform its predecessor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We wish we had upgraded years ago While it took a while to get delivered and installed, the unit itself is amazing!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Missing a critical feature for safety/convenience. Pretty hot right now, no pun intended. Just had this oven installed. Model is somewhat in the top half of the GE lineup, so I expected most typical features to be available; wasn't expecting bells and whistles. Turns out this oven doesn't have the "timed cook" feature!! This is unbelievable... how can you let someone use the delayed start feature without being able to automatically turn it off? So much for putting in a roast at noon, setting the delayed start, and counting on the oven turning off at 5:00. 30 minutes late and it's ruined; two hours late and my house stinks. Get in a car wreck and the house burns down. The 12 hr. Off safety feature really doesn't comfort me much. I probably exaggerate, but still... What is especially crazy is that this feature is available on most of the bottom dwellers of the GE oven line. Even the GE customer service tech agreed that this is goofy, after trying to tell me this is an "upgraded feature". I just hope I can return it.
