Ratings and Q&A

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quite Surprised Despite my concerns over having to buy a space saver washing machine, as I have never had a space saver washing machine before, I am quite pleased with this little machine. I've had it a few days now and have done a few loads, and honestly, my clothes and things are getting cleaned. I did a load of queen size sheets and pillow cases, without adding the additional water, in one load and had no problem with the wash other than the sheets did get a little tangled, just a little though, so it can handle a decent size load. A little noisy, maybe, but no more so than the washing machine it replaced. My only concern is that, as with everything else made these days, this machine is made with a lot of plastic, such as its cover. I am concerned with how long it is going to last, especially considering its cost.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replaces 1990 GE washer in limited W/D condo space I like it. I just got it a few days ago. I have read all the reviews and questions here plus the manual to help get myself acquainted with the machine. Many reviews state it is so quiet. My old machine must have been really quiet as I think this one is somewhat noisy. I was sure my neighbor was wondering what all the noise over here was about. But when I asked, she said she didn’t hear a thing. And then I did see a link listed here about noise & checked it out. I now know & understand what I am hearing and feel better about it. I loved my old machine’s fabric dispenser and lint catcher so was a little worried about having and liking a new version of those. But I have to say, I find that both new versions work great. I have done 3 loads of laundry in the new washer… one ladies Sherpa lined jacket, a load of clothes and a queen size deep sides bed sheet SET with 3 pillow cases. I did use the deep fill for the clothes & the sheet set because the water level seemed to make the items way too crowded to move during the swishes. I didn’t think it “sensed” enough on its own to raise the water level. I tried to do the thing with adding a 2nd deep fill after the initial deep fill which I read about here but that did not work. Overall tho, I felt the water level was very good for washing and rinsing for all 3 loads. I loaded the same amount of items into this new washer as I did into my old washer. Nothing came out twisted or more wrinkled than it had in my old washer. I had no trouble with the sheet set load. I put everything into the washer around the edges like there was an invisible agitator as my old washer had. I watched it during its various cycles because I was curious as to how this would all work without an agitator. While it was washing and rinsing, the items were submerged and swishing in the water across the tub. I was surprised that at the end of the wash cycle and at the end of the rinse cycle I could see the Infusor clearly at the bottom. ALL the items were hugging along the outside of the tub. So far, I am very pleased with the machine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from first new washing machine in 22 years We were not familiar with the agitator-less design of modern top-loading washers. That is a great improvement, allowing us to wash a lot more in a single load than was previously possible.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible product. Do not buy. Washer broke the first time I used it and it flooded my kitchen. It still has not been fixed over a week later.
