Dishwasher Convection Drying

Convection air flow drying uses natural air currents to dry dishes effectively. Dry air enters the tub under the door and rises through the dish load as it warms evaporating moisture from the dishes. The warm moist air is vented through a vent opening on the inside of the dishwasher door. The convection drying process is quiet, effective and requires no additional energy. This works exactly like the "DRYING HEAT OFF" option on some models.

When using Heated Dry, the calrod heater adds heat to speed the drying action.
