Microwave Auto Cook Feature

Auto Cook takes the guesswork out of cooking non-recipe convenience foods. The sensor automatically sets and maintains the correct power levels and cooking times by sensing steam from the food as it cooks.

The Auto Cook function consists of nine programs, coded one to nine. The cooking time of all the codes is determined by the time it takes from START to the humidity detection point. The word "Auto" will be displayed during this time.
  • On the code one program (reheating foods), the control will beep four times as soon as the humidity detection is reached, the display will show "end" and turn off.
  • For programs two through nine, the food continues to cook after the humidity detection point is reached. The additional cooking time varies by program.

Some models offer Auto Cook by time. This feature uses three time-controlled codes designed for three specific food items. For example: code 1 is for five slices of bacon, code 2 is for five hot dogs, and code 3 is for four hamburgers. Some models offer preference control when using Auto Cook.

Note: Auto Start will not work in conjunction with Auto Cook. Please consult for model specific information. Download a copy of the Owner's Manual.
