Rated 4 out of 5 by Brian PA from So quiet you can hardly tell it's running This model was purchased to upgrade an aging dishwasher. The model needed to be part of the GE Profile series to be part of a multiple appliance discount, otherwise I would have gone with a less expensive model. Other than paying a few hundred bucks more than I wanted to for a dishwasher, I have been pleased with this one so far. It is very quiet, and you can't tell it's running over the GE refrigerator that's 8 feet away. I'm not a huge fan of the top controls which makes it difficult to read the remaining time unless you're at the right angle. Overall, it does a good job of cleaning the dishes even when fully loaded, and you'll hardly hear it doing its job!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Cheryl Moore from Hard to get started This dishwasher came with our new condo and I have not had GE appliances before. I do not like the hidden control panel because it is hard to get the appliance to start. Each time I end up shutting the door hard, then pushing the start button, then pushing on the door to keep it closed before it starts. Then most of the time I hear the little beeping "song" and the thing stops again. So then I have to go through all the steps again to start it back up. Very unhappy with this new appliance!

It melts everything plastic - dishwasher safe or not. Very long cycle times for all cycles. Nothing short or intermediate. Nice features are versatile racks and bottle wash.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Nater2112 from Constantly malfunctioning There isn’t an update the system that needs to be done periodically but there is no way of knowing this because you don’t receive any sort of notification. I found this out from the repair man who I had to call put because the soap dispenser never opens when you run a cycle.
