• GE’s lower rack roller and axle kit – model #: WD12X271 – is designed for lower dishwasher racks that are in need of both a replacement roller and axle.
  
  
• Rollers enable lower dishwasher racks to slide out onto the inside of the door, thus simplifying the loading of the rack. While the rollers directly make this part mobile, it is the axle that fastens the roller to the rack and ultimately allows the wheels
