Dishwasher - UltraFresh System with Microban Antimicrobial Technology

Our UltraFresh System™ Dishwasher with built-in Microban® antimicrobial technology provides a smarter, cleaner dishwashing experience 24/7, for the life of your dishwasher.

 

GE Profile delivers the first-and-only UltraFresh System dishwashers with Microban antimicrobial technology infused into specific touchpoints to keep them 99% cleaner than untreated surfaces. We treat key areas of the dishwasher with Microban including both towel bar style and pocket style door handles, the control panel, rack handles, silverware basket covers and filters.

 

There are three key elements to the UltraFresh System™ - Drain, Dry and Defend:

• Drain: Between cycles, smart sensors signal the sump wash system to drain and flow clean water through filters treated with Microban antimicrobial technology, when needed, to refresh the water in the sump.

• Dry: The UltraFresh System continuously pulls fresh air into the dishwasher. Smart sensors engage a fan which refreshes the interior by reducing moisture which is a cause of odor within the dishwasher.

• Defend: The Microban antimicrobial technology is built into specific product surfaces during the manufacturing process. Microban continuously defends these surfaces against stain and odor causing bacteria, mold and mildew.

Dishwashers that offer the UltraFresh System with built-in Microban® antimicrobial technology feature have an ULTRA FRESH touch pad on the control panel. UltraFresh can be selected at any time. Pressing the ULTRA FRESH pad will activate the system and will illuminate the LED just above the ULTRA FRESH pad. The UltraFresh feature may be turned off at any time by pressing the ULTRA FRESH pad a second time.
