Using the Clock on Your GE Drip Coffee Maker
The GE Drip Coffee Maker with Glass Carafe and the GE Drip Coffee Maker with Thermal Carafe feature a clock in the display. When the Coffee Maker is plugged in, the clock will need to be set.
For models G7CDAASSPSS and G7CDABSSPSS, it is important to note that the clock does not remain in the display all the time. Once the time of day has been set for the clock, the display will turn off after a short amount of time, typically within a minute or two. There is not a way to have the clock show in the display all the time.
For models G7CDAASSTSS and G7CDABSSTSS, the clock does remain in the display all the time. There is not a way to turn off the clock in the display.
Setting the Clock on Models G7CDAASSPSS and G7CDABSSPSS

Shortly press the “HR” key once, one hour can be changed. Press and hold down the “HR” key, the hour can be increased continuously.

Shortly press the “MIN” key once, one minute can be changed. Press and hold down the “MIN” key, the minute can be increased continuously.

After setting the time, press the “BREW/CANCEL”, “Auto Brew” or “Bold” key pad to confirm and set the clock.
NOTE: Do not operate the Coffee Maker for 15 seconds after setting the time. This allows the Coffee Maker to confirm the set time.
If the Coffee Maker is in standby mode and you need to change the clock setting, press and hold down the “HR” or “MIN” key for more than 3 seconds to enter into the clock setting mode.
Setting the Clock on Models G7CDAASSTSS and G7CDABSSTSS
- Press the Hour/Min. button to enter clock setting mode. The default time of "12:00AM" will be displayed upon initial plug-in.
- Program the Hour of day using the left and right arrow buttons. Once complete, press the Hour/Min. button again to change to programming Minutes.
- Now, program the Minutes by using the left and right arrows.
- Once Hours and Minutes are programmed, press the Hour/Min. button again to program AM or PM. Select AM or PM and press the Hour/Min. button to confirm your selection. The clock setup is now complete and the Coffee Maker will return to the idle screen.
NOTE: If the Brew/Cancel button is pressed in the middle of programming a new time, the new time will be discarded, and the previous clock time will be displayed.
While setting the clock, if there is no button press for 15 seconds, the machine will accept the current displayed time as the new time, and exit the clock setting mode.
If the Coffee Maker is in standby mode, and the control display is off, press and hold the Hour/Min button to enter into clock setup mode.
