The launch date of our new GE Profile™ Top Load 900 Series Laundry is targeted for June of 2022. When introduced, the new Top Load 900 Series Washer will be the ONLY washer in the U.S. featuring Voice Assistant with Built-In Alexa. The addition of the 900 Series to the 600 and 700 Series completes the family of GE Profile™ Top Load Laundry models.

Voice Assistant w/Built-In Alexa
Most consumers have an Alexa somewhere in their house. However, it is usually in a living space, not the laundry area. The Top Load 900 Series Washer has Alexa built-in, so Alexa is right there on the washer.
A consumer can ask Alexa to play music while they do the laundry. More importantly, the Voice Assistant offers a Personal Laundry Assistant feature.
Personal Laundry Assistant: If you do not know how to wash a garment or are unsure about how to remove a stain, simply ask Alexa and the Washer and Dryer sets it for you.
Uses Key Utterances to set the Washer and Dryer for specific fabrics and stains.
Example Utterances are “Alexa, tell SmartHQ to wash SPANDEX” or “Alexa, tell SmartHQ to remove RED WINE stains”.

Adaptive SmartDispense™ Technology
This is an intelligent dispenser that holds up to 50 ounces of detergent or softener, adapts dosing based on the detergent used and automatically dispenses the right amount to save you time and the mess, making laundry effortless. The washer has the ability to use the SmartDispense™ for liquid fabric softener instead of liquid detergent. For example, a consumer can do this if they will be consistently using a Tide POD in the Smart FlexDispense® drawer for detergent.
Smart FlexDispense® w/Custom Add
Has dedicated dispensers for detergent, detergent packs like Tide PODS™, fabric softener and custom add for other common additives to speed up activation and optimize cleaning performance.

It is important to note that this washer has new dimensions. The dimensions are 46" High x 27 7/8" Wide x 27 7/8" Deep. It is deeper and wider than the 840 Series washer but still fits through doorways.
