Smart Appliance - Appliance Not Showing Up in SmartHQ App
Smart appliances connect to your home WiFi through the SmartHQ™ app. If you have your Smart appliance connected to WiFi and start to have connectivity issues, or if your appliance no longer appears in the SmartHQ app, you will need to disconnect from WiFi and then re-connect your appliance. This will update your WiFi connection.
Reconnecting an Appliance That Is Not Showing Up In the SmartHQ™ App
For models without an LCD (touchscreen) display, the instructions for reconnecting can vary between appliances. If you need help, contact the Connected Home Support Line below.
For models with an LCD (touchscreen) display, follow these directions:
Disconnect
- Tap the Home Screen on the LCD display.
- Select the Settings "gear" icon on the upper right.
- Select WI-FI & REMOTE ENABLE.
- Select DISCONNECT & FORGET WI-FI.
- Select DISCONNECT.
Reconnect
- Tap the Home Screen on the LCD display.
- Select the Settings "gear" icon on the upper right.
- Select WI-FI & REMOTE ENABLE.
- Follow the on-screen set-up instructions.
