Installing the Optional Coin Kit Accessory on GE Appliances Commercial Laundry
GE Appliances re-entered the commercial laundry business in October of 2021. The new commercial laundry products do not use Smartcard payment systems. The new GE Appliances commercial laundry products come with an App based payment system. Using a smartphone, you scan the QR code on the control panel to download the App. The App provides a quick tutorial on the operation of the washer, or you can go to GEAppliances.com/commerciallaundry to learn more. The App is called the Launderday App. The Launderday App is loaded on your phone to pay for the use of the commercial washer and dryer.
The new commercial laundry products offer two payment methods. One is the Launderday App and the other is an optional coin drop. Of course, the consumer can only pay with coin if the optional coin drop box is installed on the washer and dryer. The Commercial Laundry Coin Meter Kit to pay with coins is sold separately.
