GE Profile Smart Oven with No Preheat - Installation, Operation and Cleaning Tips

The GE Profile Smart Oven with No Preheat is the first countertop oven that does not require preheating for any of its cooking modes. This oven utilizes a Zero Preheat Technology that directly targets your food. The oven will immediately start cooking or baking without the need to preheat. The model numbers are:
  • P9OIAAS6TBB (black)
  • P9OIAASSTSS (stainless steel)

Installation Tips

  • The GE Profile Smart Oven should be placed on a level, stable, and heat-resistant surface with at least 4 inches of clearance on all sides whenever the oven is in operation.
  • The power cord should be plugged into a grounded 120V power outlet.
  • We recommend wiping the interior walls of the oven and the accessories with a damp, wet sponge before the first use.

Operation Tips

  • Before First Use: It is recommended that you first operate the oven empty on the Air Fry mode for 20 minutes at 450°F before first use. This will ensure that any protective substances on the heating elements are removed. It is safe to open the door immediately after running this cycle.
  • WiFi Connect Enabled: Connecting your Smart Oven to WiFi allows you to communicate with your Smart Phone for remote monitoring, control, notifications, and appliance software updates.
  • Vapors and Odors: When using the Smart Oven for the first time, you may notice visible vapors and/or a slight odor. These vapors and odors are normal, safe, and not detrimental to the oven. We recommend ensuring that the room is well ventilated.
  • Cooking Times: The 11 unique oven modes allow you to follow normal cooking times as provided in the recipes for a full-size oven, excluding any preheat time. You can find helpful Cooking Tips provided in the Owner's Manual.
  • Door Opening: The door is opened by pressing the door release latch and closed by pulling the handle down. Whenever the oven door is opened while cooking, the cooking timer will pause, the oven will stop heating, and the oven light will illuminate automatically. Cooking will resume when the door is closed. An alarm will sound if the oven door is left open for longer than a minute. If left open for longer than 5 minutes, the oven will automatically turn off and return to standby mode.
  • Self-Presenting Rack: To take advantage of this feature, place the rack or the air fry basket in the middle cooking position. When the door opens, the rack slightly pushes out for easier access to your food, and when the door closes, the rack pushes in. However, if you cook heavy food on the rack when it is in the middle position, the rack will not push out.
  • Rack Capacity: The maximum load capacity for the rack is 15 lbs.
  • Accessories Included: Your Smart Oven comes with a Baking Pan, a Wire Rack, a Sheet Rack, and an Air Fry Basket.
  • Interior Oven Light: The oven light is consumer-replaceable with a 120V or 130V (not 12 volts), 25-watt halogen bulb with a G9 base.

Cleaning Tips

  • Interior and Exterior: Clean interior and exterior surfaces with a sponge or soft cloth and warm, soapy water. To avoid damaging these areas, do not clean with metal or nylon scouring pads or brushes.
  • Accessories:
    • We recommend cleaning all the accessories with a sponge and warm, soapy water. A soft polyester or nylon pad should be used to remove stubborn spots.
    • Please note that the crumb tray, racks, and air fry basket should not be cleaned in a dishwasher. Although the baking pan is the only accessory that can be cleaned in the dishwasher, we recommend that it also be cleaned by hand.
