GE Profile™ UltraFast Combo Washer/Dryer - Wash Complete Alert Feature

The Wash Complete Alert feature on your UltraFast Combo Washer/Dryer has the capability of notifying you when the WASH portion of the cycle is complete but before proceeding to DRY. This is a visual and audible alert at the machine and via the SmartHQ™ App (if connected).

Wash Complete Alert Benefit

This feature provides you with the opportunity to do the following:

Check on the load after the wash cycle.
Remove certain items before drying.
Add a dryer sheet before the drying portion of the cycle commences. You can add dryer sheets to your laundry for scent after the wash is done, but static cling is greatly reduced due to lower heat, less aggressive tumbling, and no over-drying.

Wash Complete Alert Operation

Regardless of whether you choose to pause and restart the cycle, your Combo will proceed directly into the drying cycle within about 5 minutes after sounding this alert. The total cycle time will not be increased when selecting the Wash Complete feature.
