GE Profile™ UltraFast Combo Washer/Dryer - Finding the UPD-ID or MAC ID

There may be times when we, at GE Appliances, may need to request the UPD-ID from your GE Profile™ UltraFast Combo for the purposes of remotely monitoring your UltraFast Combo for diagnostics. The UPD-ID and MAC ID can be obtained once the UltraFast Combo has been connected using the SmartHQ app.
 

Steps for Getting the UPD-ID or MAC ID

  1. Ensure your Combo is connected. The WiFi icon will be shown in the top right corner of the LCD screen.
  2. After pressing Menu on the LCD screen, navigate to WiFi in the menu and press SELECT.
  3. Make sure the screen shows WiFi "On" and then press SELECT on that menu item. The screen will show "WiFi Connected."
  4. Write down or take a picture of the UPD 12-digit alphanumeric code and share it with your GE Appliances Customer Care Agent.
