GE Profile™ UltraFast Combo Washer/Dryer - Removing the Shipping Hardware

Your GE Profile™ UltraFast Combo comes with shipping bolts that keep the basket from moving around when it is transported. This protects the UltraFast Combo from any potential damage to the basket. These shipping bolts should only be removed once the Combo is in it's final installation location.
 

Removing the Shipping Bolts

Similar to front load washers, the Combo has shipping bolts, brackets, and spacers that keep the wash basket secure during shipping. They are located in the rear, and need to be removed before using the appliance. These are the parts that need to be removed:
  • 4 bolts
  • 4 plastic spacers (including power cord retainers and rubber grommets)
  • 2 brackets and the screws fastening them to the Combo

Additional Notes

  • Failure to remove all shipping material can cause your Combo to become severely unbalanced.
  • Save the shipping bolts and spacers in case the Combo needs to be moved. To protect the appliance, they should be reinstalled when being transported. The brackets are not required, and can be discarded.
  • When moving the Combo to another house, another floor, storage, etc.,, the tub should be kept stationary by using the four shipping bolts removed during installation. If replacement shipping bolts are needed, please order the following parts (available to purchase through our GE Appliances Parts & Accessories Store):
    • WH02X34125 (quantity needed is 2) - Short Shipping Bolt for top holes (Retainer and Spacer included)
    • WH02X34123 quantity needed is 2) - Long Shipping Bolt for bottom holes (Retainer and Spacer included)
