GE Profile™ Smart Indoor Smoker - SmartHQ™ App and Connecting to WiFi
Your GE Profile™ Smart Indoor Smoker is WiFi Enabled. A WiFi module is built into the appliance, allowing it to communicate with your mobile phone for remote monitoring, control, notifications, and appliance software updates.
Getting Started
To take advantage of your Indoor Smoker's connected features, download the SmartHQ™ app from the Apple App store or Google Play.
Connecting to WiFi
- To connect the Indoor Smoker to your WiFi network, press and hold the “Settings” button for three seconds. The WiFi icon will begin to flash on the display to indicate the appliance is in pairing mode.
- Follow the instructions in the SmartHQ™ app to continue WiFi setup.
- When the appliance has successfully connected to a WiFi network, the WiFi icon will stop flashing and stay illuminated.
In case of loss of power or WiFi connection, the appliance may take up to five minutes to reconnect to WiFi.
Disconnecting from WiFi
To disconnect the smoker from your WiFi network, press and hold the “Settings” button for three seconds. The WiFi icon will disappear from the display.
NOTE: Disconnecting from WiFi will delete network settings from memory of the appliance. The WiFi setup process for “Connecting to WiFi” must be repeated to reconnect the Indoor Smoker to WiFi.
