GE Profile™ UltraFast Combo Washer/Dryer - Quick Cycle

Need that uniform or that shirt cleaned in a hurry? The Quick Cycle on your GE Profile™ UltraFast Combo Washer/Dryer allows you to wash and dry small loads of lightly soiled items in about 70 minutes, on average. Adjustments to this time are made after the Combo senses the load size. Time will be added for larger loads.

Tips for Using the Quick Cycle

• The Quick Cycle should be used with items that:
  • Have a soil level of: Normal, Light, or Extra Light.
  • Can be washed in water temperature settings of: Warm, Cold, or Tap Cold
  • Can withstand any spin speed: Ex High (Max), High, Medium, or Low. No Spin is not an option.
• A Prewash setting is not available when using the Quick Cycle.
• If this cycle is taking longer than expected, make sure the load is small. This cycle is designed for 2 to 5 lightly soiled items, not to be used as a faster Normal size load. Adding more items can potentially increase the drying time. Here are examples of two possible loads:
  • Example 1: One pair of casual pants plus two casual shirts
  • Example 2: Three soccer uniforms
• The Quick Cycle uses less water than a Normal cycle as it does one deep rinse as opposed to the default of two used on other cycles.
• As with all cycles, the water consumption per fill (in wash and rinse) is also adjusted by load size.
