Smart Appliances - Electro-magnetic Field (EMF) Emissions and Pacemakers Related to Wi-Fi

Our Connected products, along with all other wireless technologies, produce electromagnetic fields (EMF) to communicate wirelessly. The FCC sets limits that all wireless devices must meet to ensure no harmful interference or exposure. Our Connected Appliances are tested to the FCC part 15 standard to meet these requirements. Your GE appliance’s Wi-Fi/BLE FCC ID is located on a sticker on your appliance. For information regarding your appliances' Wi-Fi, refer to the Owner's Manual.

Persons with pacemakers or other electronic medical devices should discuss any concerns with their doctors on proper precautions with wireless technology.

Note: This also applies to RF, as RF is a type of EMF.
