Microwave - Runs But Does Not Heat
If your Microwave runs but is not heating, there could be one of many components that is not working properly.
Basic Tips If Running But Not Heating
- Please make sure the “Timer” function was not inadvertently used.
- Check to ensure the door is closed securely. Open the door and close it firmly. This confirms the engagement of the door's safety mechanisms.
NOTE: For safety reasons, we offer no do-it-yourself repair advice on Microwave Ovens. There is an internal high voltage capacitor which can hold a high voltage charge even after the Microwave has been unplugged. Also, special equipment is generally needed to make a diagnosis for the repair needed.
