Advantium 240 Volt Error, Fault or Function Codes

Fault codes are programmed into the electronic Advantium controls. These codes help GE Appliance Service technicians to more quickly diagnose issues with the Advantium. Below are the most common fault codes:

 

240V Fault Codes	Definition
F1	Open Thermal Sensor
F2	Shorted thermal sensor
F3	Shorted touch pad panel
F4	Open or Shorted humidity sensor
F6	High cavity temperature detected

To attempt to clear the code yourself, please follow the steps below:

1. Press CLEAR/OFF or CANCEL.
2. Program control again.
3. If the fault code appears again, disconnect power to the microwave for 30 seconds.
4. Program the cooking function again.

If the fault code appears again, service will be required. We recommend unplugging the Advantium until you have it serviced.   For service, please schedule an appointment with GE Appliances Factory Service.
