Washer - Banging Noise During Spin Cycle

Obviously, if the wash load is out of balance in a washer, the tub may start banging while the washer is spinning. If the wash load is not out of balance and a banging sound is heard, you may want to check the hoses behind the washer.

Resolving a Banging Noise During the Spin Cycle on a Washer

Banging noise during a drain and/or spin cycle may occur from the drain hose hitting against the back of the washer. This can occur if the drain hose is not secured properly. Check the Installation Instructions for information on the proper installation of the drain hose on your specific washer model.
