Harmony Washer - Error Message or Code
The Harmony Washer electronics can automatically determine if problems exist with the machine. Sometimes an error code can also be present because of things the machine cannot control such as changes in the house voltage, water pressure, or temperature. If an error occurs, "A problem has been detected with this unit" will be displayed on the screen.
Resolving an Error Message or Code on a Harmony Washer
The most common solution for resolving this message is to turn the machine OFF and then ON. However, this message will sometimes cause the control to stop the machine from working. With this type of error, the control panel will need to be reset.
Resetting the Control Panel on a Harmony Washer
The following steps will allow you to reset the control.
- Clear the ERROR from the Screen: Press and hold the MY CYCLES and BACK buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. The control will display any recorded errors. Please write down what error codes are shown on your screen in case service is needed. If a MORE icon is displayed on the screen, press MORE to list additional errors. When the EXIT button appears, press EXIT.
- Remove Power: Follow the onscreen instructions to remove power, unplug the Washer, and then immediately plug the Washer back in.
- Clear Setup Mode: After power is restored, a setup screen that begins with "Congratulations..." will be shown. DO NOT PRESS the OK button shown at the bottom of the screen. Press the START/STOP and POWER buttons simultaneously until the Home Screen is displayed. Your Washer is now ready to function normally.
Repair Service Required
Should the controls or Washer not function properly after these steps have been taken, service may be required. For service, please schedule a repair appointment with Bodewell.
