Microwave - Power Failure (PF) Code

If there is a power failure to the electrical supply to your home, when the power comes back on, you may see a "PF", "888" or "8888" code in the display on your Microwave Oven. Depending upon the model, one of these codes will appear in the display to indicate that the power failure has occurred.

Resetting a Power Failure Code

It is possible to see a "PF", "888" or "8888" in the display upon initial installation or after the power cord was unplugged and plugged back in. These display codes can be cancelled and normal operation resumed by touching the CLEAR or CLEAR/OFF pad. You may now reset the clock on the models which have the clock in the display.
