Air Conditioner - Instructions for Moving or Transporting

Moving a New, Unused Air Conditioner

• Do not place the Air Conditioner on its side or upside down. This placement could cause damage to the mounting of the compressor. If on its side or back for more than a day, leave it in an upright position and unplugged for 24 hours.

Precautions for Moving a Used Air Conditioner

• Do not tip the Air Conditioner when removing it from the wall, because there will probably be some water in the bottom.
• Once you are outside with the appliance, tip it at a 45-degree angle to drain off the water.
• Do not place the Air Conditioner on its side or upside down. This placement could cause damage to the mounting of the compressor.
