Cooktop - Glass Cracked

We understand the concern and frustration of having a crack in the glass on the cooktop on your appliance. It is important to have this repaired as quickly as possible to have use of the appliance.

Repairing a Cracked Glass Cooktop Surface

If the ceramic glass cooktop surface on a Cooktop or Range is cracked, or if the Cooktop is pitted, you will need service. This includes all glass cooking surfaces such as Radiant, Induction, or Gas on Glass Cooktops.

We do not recommend using the Cooktop until the appliance is repaired. On Ranges, the oven vents out the backsplash or rear of the oven onto the Cooktop, so we don't recommend using the oven until the Cooktop is fixed.
