Chest Freezer - Buttons and Lights on the Controls

Depending upon the age of the appliance, the controls on a Chest Freezer will vary in design. This article discusses Chest Freezers that feature a control with two buttons next to a green power indicator light. The two buttons are not illuminated. This type of control is typically found on older models.

Understanding the Buttons and Light on a Chest Freezer Control

The two buttons next to the green light located on the outside of our Chest Freezers are not functional controls. We use a common design for our Chest Freezer controls.

• The green power light should be solid and not blinking. If your Chest Freezer light is blinking or won't come on at all, reset the control by disconnecting power to the Freezer for 30 seconds.
