Refrigerator - Benefit of the Quick Ice Setting

The Quick Ice feature is found on select dispenser model Refrigerators to help speed up the production of ice.

Using the Quick Ice Setting on a Refrigerator With a Dispenser

When the Quick Ice button is pressed on the dispenser control panel, a fan will blow over the icemaker, accelerating ice production by up to 48%. The feature will be activated for 48 hours or until the feature is manually turned off (whichever comes first).

If your Refrigerator does not have a Quick Ice option, you can also try decreasing the Freezer temperature by a degree or two to expedite the production of ice cubes.
