Upright & Chest Freezer - Not Working

If your upright or chest freezer does not cool and the control lights are working, there are several possible causes:

• The temperature control could be turned to OFF.

• The temperature control or the defrost control (if the model is frost free) could be broken.

• There could be a defect in the relay or the guardette.

• Open internal wiring could cause the problem.

• The compressor could be inoperative.
