Diagnosing an Upright or Chest Freezer That Is Not Cooling
The temperature control could be turned to OFF.
The temperature control or the defrost control (if the model is frost free) could be broken.
There could be a defect in the relay or the guardette.
Open internal wiring could cause the problem.
The compressor could be inoperative.
