Dehumidifier - Air Filter

Dehumidifiers have an air filter that cleans the air entering the appliance. If the air filter is clogged, it can reduce the performance of the Dehumidifier.

The air filter is usually located behind the front grille and should be checked and cleaned regularly. The Clean the Filter light will come on after 250 hours of operation to remind you to clean the filter. The countdown timer will resume its countdown after a power interruption. For example, if the unit has run 100 hours since its last reset, it will resume the count at 100 hours.

Cleaning the Air Filter

  1. Remove the bucket.
  2. Remove the filter according to the instructions in the Owner's Manual.
  3. Clean the filter with warm, soapy water. Do not clean the air filter in the Dishwasher.
  4. Rinse well and allow it to dry completely before replacing.
  5. Reset the filter reminder timer by pressing the Filter pad or button for 3 seconds.
