Refrigerator - Interior LED Lighting

Many Refrigerators now feature LED lighting. The LED lights vary in number and location within the Refrigerator. They are used to illuminate both the Fresh Food and Freezer sections of the appliance.

Replacing the Interior LED Lighting in a Refrigerator

There are LED (light-emitting diodes) lights in a slim design panel on some Refrigerators. There are individual LED light assemblies throughout the interior on other models. LED lights provide a bright interior in the Fresh Food and Freezer sections. LEDs last longer than a standard light bulb and save space for taller items with their slim and compact design. Should an LED light assembly need to be replaced, an authorized service technician is needed to replace the lights.
