Gas Range & Cooktop - Yellow Flames or Soot on Top Burners

If you are using LP (liquid propane) gas as the fuel source for your Gas Range or Cooktop and the gas flame on the burners is fully yellow, or if you have a buildup of soot or carbon around the burners, this is usually an indication of a problem with air flow or gas pressure, "bad" gas, or the orifices need to be changed.
