Confirming Self-Cleaning Oven is Working Properly

If partial cleaning occurs, this can usually be attributed to excessive soil or insufficient cleaning time. The following are the typical symptoms:

• All of the indicator lights normally associated with the clean cycle did light.
• A dark brown (varnish-like) residue remained on the oven liner after cleaning.
• A heavy ash may have been left on the oven liner.
