Refrigerator - No Power to the Dispenser

If the dispenser panel on your refrigerator does not light up or is not working, try disconnecting power to the refrigerator for 30 seconds. If this doesn't help, service may be needed. Please review the tips provided below prior to scheduling repair service.

Diagnosing No Power to the Dispenser on a Refrigerator

If the refrigerator was just installed:

• Static electricity caused by pulling away the plastic covering off the dispenser can cause it to temporarily "lock up" and cycling the power to the refrigerator will usually correct the issue.
• If the doors were removed during installation, be sure that the door wiring harness is plugged in. Refer to the Installation Instructions for the specific location of the wiring hardness on your model.
